On 2nd June 1962 Ken Plant travelled from his home in Sheffield to Leeds (behind type 4 diesel No.D160) and then to Glasgow St Enoch Station (hauled No.D19). He then spent the day riding the last of the Glasgow trams leaving just enough time to photograph a few BR steam locomotives until returning home by the same route.
