This 2ft gauge line was built 100 years ago by the Geraldton Shire Council - it was subsequently taken over and operated by Queensland Railways until they sold it to the local sugar mills in 1977.There were 13 steam locos, 13 passenger vehicles and about 250 goods vehicles.
