South Africa was unusual in that steam locomotives in industry were , to a large extent, sourced from ex SAR main line locomotives. (This book does cover ALL motive power in industry though.) Superbly illustrated in photos and schematic maps, this is the result of decades of meticulous research and record keeping, by the acknowledged expert on the topic. Superbly presented.
